Yelling at God

What a fantastic conversation last night about "yelling at God". Even at the risk of being irreverant at times, we talked about the importance of being real to God with our feelings. If righteous models like David and Job we saw in Scripture we saw not exactly truth in what they were saying, but we definitely saw realness.

Being able to talk (or yell) things through is important in any relationship. So while our yelling may seem, at times, irreverant, I would say our piety can sometimes seem a little fake. Somewhere in the middle is where we find ourselves in any good relationship - our relationship with God is no different.

After you read this, take a second a post your thoughts. Have you had times when you did (or wanted to) yell at God? Where do you go to pray when you need to yell? Have you ever felt bad afterwards? Have you ever felt better?
